Tulsa SWE Outreach Mini-Grant Program
Mini-grants are awarded to organizations that encourage girls and young women to pursue science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). The goal of the program is to support programs and small groups that would not traditionally attract large donors but have a significant impact on the participants. Each recipient will be awarded $100 per event / project / program / organization* / school year. Submission for grant is limited to one per academic/calendar year. *Diverse groups affiliated with the same organization are not automatically ineligible if a fellow group has been awarded a grant (e.g. Girl Scout Troops). The SWE committee will review each case and consider the overlap between the groups and potential impact of activity with determining grant eligibility.
Mini-Grant evaluation criteria include: potential impact of deliverables, alignment with SWE strategies, and proposal completeness.
The application period begins on October 1, 2017 and grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis for qualified applicants.
